Continúa investigación contra titular de Comisión Reguladora de Energía: López Obrador

El presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador afirmó que durante la reunión que tuvo ayer con Guillermo García Alcocer, titular de la Comisión Reguladora de Energía (CRE), dejó claro que las investigaciones por un presunto conflicto de interés continúan, que serán las autoridades correspondientes las que resolverán el caso y rechazó que se le haya solicitado su renuncia.

En conferencia de prensa en Palacio Nacional, el Ejecutivo federal explicó que en la audiencia con García Alcocer le expuso al comisionado presidente de la CRE que las investigaciones que se llevan a cabo a su persona por el posible conflicto de interés no son parte de una persecución política.

“Lo que le expresé es que nosotros no perseguimos a nadie, que no somos vengativos, que no vamos a utilizar el poder para cometer injusticias, que no vamos a llevar a cabo ninguna acto arbitrario”, indicó

López Obrador subrayó que en ningún momento se planteó ni se le pidió la renuncia a García Alcocer, pues ese no es el estilo de este gobierno.

Precisó que siempre que alguien le presente una denuncia sobre un presunto acto de corrupción, el Presidente está obligado a denunciarlo a las instancias correspondientes para que se investigue, “porque si no lo hiciera perdería autoridad… Si yo me quedo callado o digo ‘no conviene, no te metas’, incluso si lo omito, me estoy convirtiendo en encubridor y pierdo autoridad”.

El mandatario detalló que las denuncias y pesquisas por el posible conflicto de interés debido a posibles personas de su familia ligadas a negocios relacionados con energía, continúan sin que haya un juicio sumario en donde se le condene arbitrariamente.
